J&T Express Explores Collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology to Strengthen Students’ Readiness for the Workforce

J&T Express on Thursday (23/04) held an audience meeting with the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, to explore potential collaboration in supporting the development of student capacity in Indonesia. This meeting marked an initial step in opening opportunities for synergy between the industry and the government, particularly in delivering learning approaches that are more practical and relevant to industry needs.

Present at the meeting were Manager of Public Affairs J&T Express, Adriansyah Halim, S.H., M.H., CPM; Public Relations J&T Express, Febe Santoso and Alfino Fauzan, representing J&T Express. They were received by Sukino, Head of the Student Affairs Working Team at the Directorate General of Higher Education; Harun Nasrullah, Member of the Student Affairs Working Team: Creativity, Interests, Talents, and Student Entrepreneurship at the Directorate General of Higher Education; and Nandan, Head of Administration Subdivision at the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs, Directorate General of Higher Education, representing Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology.

During the meeting, J&T Express highlighted the importance of strengthening student capacity, not only from an academic perspective but also in preparing them to face the increasingly dynamic industrial landscape. This is crucial to ensure that students are not only ready to enter the workforce but are also able to adapt and actively contribute within it.

As a company closely connected to business activities and the industrial ecosystem, J&T Express sees the need for students to be equipped with a more comprehensive perspective from an early stage, including an understanding of business development opportunities as a potential career path. J&T Express also expressed its readiness to provide support and platforms for students across Indonesia, particularly in strengthening entrepreneurial capacity.

In the meeting, representatives from Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology expressed appreciation for J&T Express’ commitment to supporting the future of young generations, especially in encouraging entrepreneurship. For the government, empowering young generations cannot be done independently, but requires collaboration with the private sector to ensure broader and more sustainable impact. This collaboration is considered an important step in bridging industry needs with the development of student competencies at the higher education level.

This audience meeting also forms part of J&T Express’ efforts to expand its contribution to the education sector. Since 2025, J&T Express has placed education as one of the key focuses in its community empowerment program through J&T Antar Inspirasi. Going forward, this discussion is expected to lead to more concrete forms of collaboration, whether in the development of practice-based learning programs, strengthening student capacity, or other initiatives relevant to current industry and education needs.
