Employees are one of the important assets in developing the company's business. Improving the quality and enthusiasm of their work is a matter of great concern by J&T Express Jakarta Branch. This is evidenced by the achievement of 80,000 shipments per day in 2017 and the target for the future to reach 200,000 shipments per day.
As a token of appreciation for employees, J&T Express Jakarta Branch held The Best Employee of the Year 2017 event which is a tribute to employees who worked hard throughout 2017. The event, which was held at Nelayan Restaurant - Ancol North Jakarta, was attended by more than 300 invited guests and employees.
The event was opened with remarks from Mr. Star as the Jakarta branch leader followed by a variety of activities such as employee awards (rewards), package packing competitions, cabaret shows, door prizes, musical performances and traditional arts by J&T Express Jakarta branch employees.
Employee awards are divided into several categories namely Best Regional Manager, Best Supervisor, Best PIC, Best Sprinter, Best Admin, Best Transporter, and Best Head Office where each award winner receives a trophy, certificate, and one OPPO smartphone unit. Besides that, 10 Best Sprinter winners each get one motorcycle. To appreciate the upcoming 2018 award, J&T Express Jakarta Branch will give a different appreciation for 2017 with 6 umrah packages and 6 educational scholarships for outstanding employees throughout 2018.
"By holding this event, it is hoped that employees will be more motivated to increase work quality and establish solidarity, solidarity and creativity among all J&T Express Jakarta Branch employees," said Desra Aditya as HRD Manager of J&T Express Jakarta Branch.
