J&T Express Distributes Medical Aid Aid to the National Disaster Management Agency

May 19, 2020 - Since the Covid-19 pandemic hit, J&T Express has been continuously sending aid to various parties throughout Indonesia as a form of participation to help tackle the ongoing pandemic in the country. This time, J&T Express provided assistance to the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) of more than 90,000 medical devices including personal protective equipment, masks, gloves and medical goggles.

This assistance was given directly to the BNPB team at the Graha National Disaster Management Agency - East Jakarta by the Jet Care Foundation as a foundation under the auspices of J&T Express, and OPPO Indonesia.

"Seeing the pandemic that continues to reach more than 15,000 victims, we want to contribute by providing protection in the form of personal protective equipment to the medical team as the frontline workers who are struggling to help our fellow people who are exposed to Covid-19, then with the Jet Care Foundation we again donated with the hope of increasing the supply of medical equipment needed, " said Robin Lo, CEO of J&T Express.

Previously since March 2020, J&T Express has provided assistance such as more than 40,000 medical devices to several hospitals in Indonesia. Not only that, J&T Express also provides food assistance to several residents in the areas of Bekasi, Tangerang, Balikpapan, and Jambi as a form of concern for residents affected by the economy in meeting basic needs.

Besides that, during the Ramadhan period the #JntikanKebaikan Instastory-based donation program is also underway at Instagram @jntexpressid by inviting the public to participate in providing breaking-fast food for the frontline workers team in several hospitals.
