Jakarta, 18 December 2023 - J&T Express, a global delivery service, delivered 35 happiness packages to children sheltered under the Lovely Hands disability community, Sunter, North Jakarta. This happiness package is given in order to continue support for people with disabilities from the success of the J&T Connect Run event to provide enthusiasm ahead of Christmas.

"We packaged this donation activity in a unique and fun way to make it more memorable for the children in the Lovely Hands community. As a delivery company, we also present a sprinter or courier figure in a Sprinter Claus costume to deliver the gift itself. "Children are free to choose gifts according to their wishes, so that they feel more personal and bring joy before Christmas," said Herline Septia as Brand Manager of J&T Express Indonesia.

Lovely Hands is a disability care community under the guidance of the St Yohanes Bosco Catholic Church, North Jakarta. Lovely Hands provides training to children with disabilities with various conditions such as cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, mental retardation, autism and speech delay. Despite having a Catholic religious identity, Lovely Hands provides services to all children regardless of religious background.

"Thank you to J&T Express for caring about children with disabilities. We appreciate the social activities provided for children. "No matter how small the gift given, it is very meaningful for them," said Maria Lanneke Alexander as Lovely Hands Community Coordinator.

In this activity, J&T Express gave prizes to 35 Lovely Hands students. They were allowed to choose a gift according to their wishes from several categories given and this was then realized by J&T Express by delivering the gift by a J&T Express sprinter dressed as Santa Claus. There are a number of categories available, such as school bags, jackets, food and drink containers, children's toys and crayon sets. The recipients of this prize range in age from 5 years to 27 years

Social activities aimed at Lovely Hands are a series of J&T Express support for people with disabilities. This series of support started with the holding of the J&T Connect Run last August to collect donation funds, continued with the presence of a disabled SME empowerment program entitled "Deliver Possibilities" and closed with social activities at Lovely Hands.
